The mixed doubles curling event at the 2026 has already finished, with missing out on the medals.

The side hadn’t worn their signature outfits this year, but donned the multicoloured trousers against Scandinavian rivals on Tuesday.

The outfit did not bring the Norwegian side any luck though, after they were beaten 7-4 by the Swedes.

They will be hoping for better luck against on Wednesday as they hope to win yet another medal for their nation.

Why do Norway wear multicoloured trousers?

The men’s team’s bold trousers bring back memories of the attire they wore at the 2010, 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.

Christoffer Svae, a member of the team throughout those three Games, was the man responsible for unique pants.

When the team first wore the attire in 2010, the pants went viral with their own Facebook page that gained nearly 700,000 followers and Norwegian monarch, King Harald V, received a pair.

They became a phenomenon throughout that decade, but we didn’t see them at 2022 – they trained in the pants but never played a match.
