ALL flights at major UK airports have been grounded due to a “radar failure”.
Thousands of passengers are stuck on tarmac at some of the UK’s largest travel hubs, including Heathrow and Gatwick.

Departures have been paused due to an ATC failure.
Information from FlightRadar shows hundreds of planes currently stuck at Heathrow Airport.
The departure board at Europe’s largest airport is also down, with an error message on the website reading: “Your flight selection cannot be found”.
Other major airports affected include Liverpool, Stansted, Manchester and Luton.
In a statement, NATS confirmed there had been a “technical issue” at the air traffic control centre in Swanwick.
It read: “As a result of a technical issue, we are limiting the number of aircraft flying in the London control area in order to ensure safety.
“We apologise for any delays this may cause.
“Our engineers are working hard to resolve the problem as quickly as possible and we are working closely with airlines to help minimise disruption.
“At this stage we cannot say how long it will be before operations are back to normal.”
Posting pictures from grounded plane windows, angry holidaymakers took to social media to tell of their flight woes.
One said: “Every flight in the south of England currently grounded due to problems with air traffic control.
“We are on an EasyJet flight from Luton to Antalya, we were just about to take off.
“Currently sat with with girls on the flight with no idea what’s going to happen.”
Another continued: “London airspace all shut... No departures from any of the London airports.”
