Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at the club this season.
The 37-year-old has signalled his desire to leave Old Trafford this summer to play Champions League football.
His agent Jorge Mendes was said to be looking for any available Champions League club for the former Juventus star.
However, he is unlikely to leave with the transfer deadline approaching on Thursday.
But addressing the press on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s Premier League clash against Leicester, Ten Hag said, “It is clear,” when asked about Ronaldo’s future.
“We need quality players. You need more to cover all the games.”
