Popular singer, Oladapo Oyebanjo, better known as D’banj, has said that sleeping in his room for the first time in 21 months wasn’t as easy for him as he expected.

He disclosed this in a post on his social media page in what appeared to be a reflection about life and family generally.

He wrote on Instagram, “For the first time in 21 months I slept in my own room. I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh and although my family and I have been through so much in this time, I woke up with a grateful heart knowing I can be a source of visible hope to anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic or any personal issue. Just know that tomorrow will be better and you can turn your pain into motivation. Stay strong.”

Recall that the DB Records boss lost his first son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, to a drowning accident in his Lagos home on June 25, 2018. The one-year-old boy was at home with his mother, Lineo Kilgrow, at the time while D’banj was away in the United States. Meanwhile, the couple welcomed another son on September 19, 2019.
