The British broadcasting giant announced in late November that they would temporarily switch the channel to Sky Sports Darts.

The decision was made as a “celebration” of the tournament, which took place from early December to early January.
Sky’s channel alteration lasted the entire duration of the tournament, starting on December 10 and concluding on January 5.
The change was possible because the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix occurred on December 7.
During this quiet time in motorsport at the start of the F1 off-season, many sports fans shifted their attention to darts.
However, as of Monday, normal programming resumed, and racing enthusiasts can once again enjoy coverage on Sky channel 407.
The entertaining World Championships at Ally Pally justified Sky's decision to switch, with the 18-year-old winning back-to-back titles.
He claimed his first world title 12 months ago, reached world No. 1 by the end of 2025, and then secured darts’ first £1 million prize.
There is just over a month remaining until F1 pre-season testing begins in Bahrain.
The reigning champion will enter the season after narrowly defeating his McLaren teammate in last month’s thrilling finale.
Further testing in Bahrain is scheduled from February 18 to February 20, before the season opener in Australia on March 8.
This year's 24-round calendar will challenge drivers both physically and mentally, particularly with new design regulations that could significantly change the competitive landscape.
Cars will be smaller, lighter, and more agile, the DRS system will be replaced, and engine regulations have also been updated.
