BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers found it hysterical when a bunch of school children pranked Simon Cowell during the live semi-final.

was behind the judges’ desk as the kids from Braunstone Community Primary School performed their hearts out in the hope of making it to the final.

In one hilarious moment during their routine some of the kids ran over to the normally stern Simon and doused him with silly string, covering his face and glasses.

“You’ve made me look really stupid,” Simon told them but saw the humour in their stunt.

Fans watching at home thought the prank was great and expressed their thoughts on social media platform, X.

“Simon with a full face of silly string,” wrote one person.

Another added: “LMAOOO Simon.”

And a third posted: “Hahah Simon Cowell got silly string sprayed on him.”

The students had previously received a from guest judge Stacey Solomon during the auditions in Birmingham.

The Loose Women star was on hand at the on her favourite act.

At the beginning of the episode hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ran off the stage to greet Stacey in the second row who was there with husband Joe Swash and some of their children.

“I cannot wait, I just know they’re going to have the time of their lives out there and that’s what this show’s all about,” an emotional Stacey told Ant and Dec.

“I feel so honoured to be here and I’ve loved every single second of it, good luck everyone here tonight.”

The semi-finalists are battling for a coveted place in the grand final, hoping to win the £250,000 prize and a spot on the bill of the .

Sadly the students did not progress to the final after a public vote, but illusionist Fabian Fox was voted through.

During Fabian’s performance he appeared to time travel on his motorbike which disappeared on stage only to pop back up in the audience, among other feats of illusion.

The other act to make it to the final was Sadeck Berrabah and LMA, thanks to judge Alesha Dixon using her Golden Buzzer which automatically puts them in the final.

The 66-person dance group from Liverpool was described as a “breath of fresh air” by Alesha.
