RANGERS have reached out to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Bo Svensson as potential replacements for Russell Martin.
The former boss was dismissed by Besiktas in August after just seven months in charge.

According to SunSport, he was approached by Rangers officials to discuss the vacancy at Ibrox.
They have engaged in face-to-face discussions with several managerial candidates in a search that seemed likely to lead to ‘s second arrival – until the legend ruled himself out.
Speculation about a sensational Solskjaer appointment began when his former Manchester United teammate, Paul Scholes, hinted at it on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast earlier this week.
He mentioned: “I was actually with someone the other night who told me he was going to meet Rangers.”
When Nicky Butt inquired if it was Solskjaer, Scholes replied: “No comment.”
Former Mainz and Union Berlin manager Svensson was also pursued by Rangers last week.
Reports suggest that discussions were encouraging and Svensson was enthusiastic about the opportunity.
However, the 46-year-old former Denmark international withdrew from consideration over the weekend.
Rangers’ attempts to find a new manager have been intense, and Svensson did not wish to linger.
Svensson was well-respected at Mainz, where he rescued the team from relegation in the 2020/21 season and continued to build on that success.
The Bundesliga club then finished eighth and ninth in the following two seasons.
Svensson’s subsequent position at Union Berlin was relatively brief, and he has been out of work since last December.
Kevin Muscat, Danny Rohl, and Derek McInnes are also thought to be in contention for the managerial position at Ibrox.
Martin was relieved of his duties earlier this month after achieving only one win in his first seven league matches.
The 39-year-old had to be discreetly escorted out of Falkirk Stadium.
