QPR now expect Michael Beale to seal a stunning return to Rangers as the club’s next manager, according to a report.
The former first-team coach under Steven Gerrard’s regime was revealed as the front-runner to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst by Sunsport following the Dutchman’s dismissal at the start of this week.
Now, according to talkSPORT, QPR EXPECT to lose their boss to the SPFL side.
Earlier this week Loftus Road supremo Les Ferdinand said the club wouldn’t stand in their manager’s way if that was the direction he wanted to take his career.
However no approach has been made for the Championship side’s boss with Rangers still on the look-out for their 18th manager.
Queens’ Park Rangers are Beale’s first job as boss having made the move from Aston Villa earlier this year where he served as Gerrard’s coach.
