Morocco coach, Walid Regragui, has warned France ahead of the two teams’ 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-final tie on Wednesday night.
Regragui warned France that Morocco would do anything to reach the final and win when both teams clash in the World Cup semi-final at Al Bayt Stadium.
Morocco had defeated 2010 FIFA World Cup champions Spain 3-0 in a penalty shootout in the last 16 and also won 1-0 against Portugal in the last 8.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Morocco-France fixture, Regragui said (via RMC Sport): “We want to go to the final and win. We are ready to do anything to achieve this goal. We’ll have extraordinary energy tomorrow.
“Saying that we are satisfied to have reached the semi-finals doesn’t suit us…We are not tired. Tomorrow we are going to race.”
Morocco have already made history at the ongoing FIFA World Cup, becoming the first African side to advance to the semi-finals.
The Atlas Lions are also unbeaten and have only conceded one goal throughout the competition so far.
