PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are said to be ‘unhappy’ with midfielder Fabian Ruiz, amid claims the Spaniard has refused to play through pain for them.
The Champions League holders confirmed on Tuesday that Ruiz will miss their quarter-final first leg against contiuing his absence from the team.

Ruiz will continue with an individual training programme as he works back to full fitness, but his injury issue has already gone on longer than first thought.
Ruiz has been sidelined since January, despite the injury initially being viewed as a minor problem.
L’Equipe reporter Loic Tanzi has claimed Ruiz’s ‘bruised knee’ has begun to cause frustration within the club.
Officials are said to believe his knee is now ‘completely fine’ and that he could have featured in their 3-1 win over Toulouse on the weekend.
But Ruiz has remained adamant he will not play until he feels fully fit, perhaps a smart call with a World Cup looming.
Tanzi said: “There is one certainty, it’s what he says and that he repeats that as long as he is in pain and suffering, he doesn’t want to play.
“So much that he is in pain and suffering, he doesn’t want to play. At the slightest pain, he doesn’t want to train.”
Boss has tried to calm tensions and insists the 30-year-old is working his way back to full fitness and a return.
“We have to wait for the player, there’s no problem. We’re trying to get the players back as soon as possible.
“We’re still focused on giving the player confidence.
“Fabian hasn’t trained with the group yet. He’s made a lot of progress, and we’re happy because he seems to be on the right track, but he still needs to do a little more.”
Ruiz, formerly of , has been a crucial player for PSG since his move in 2022, racking up 61 appearances in their Treble winning campaign last season which included a vital semi-final goal against .
He has managed 24 outings this term.
