PEP GUARDIOLA insisted last night’s announcement that he would Manchester City after this season had “absolutely zero” impact on his preparations tonight.

But the Catalan appeared completely unfazed when asked: “Pep, it would be very unfair to speak to you now before this important game about the events of last night and the newspapers – that’s something for after the game.

“But can we just ask, did it have any effect on you personally or your preparations ahead of this really big game?”

Guardiola bluntly replied: “Zero. Absolutely zero!”
