There is absolutely no denying that Attack on Titan is one of the world’s most popular anime series, and fans everywhere would love to be able to stream the entirety of the exceptional franchise on Netflix. This has led many subscribers to wonder if the award-winning show will become available on the streaming service.
Attack on Titan is a well-crafted adaptation of the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, and there are four seasons of the worthwhile endeavor full of action-packed tales and epic Titan battles.
The show, many may already know, takes place in a world where massive, monstrous beings called Titans eat humans. A Colossal Titan destroys one of the few remaining cities, forcing three friends, Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert, to join forces with the Scout Regiment in order to get revenge.
The critically acclaimed anime series has won many extraordinary honors over the years, making it one of the best the industry has to offer by far. At one point, it was the most viewed program on television in the United States before it was overtaken by the Disney+ series, Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Is Attack on Titan coming to Netflix?
Attack on Titan was once on Netflix but left in January 2019 before returning just a month later. Then in February 2021, It was reported by What’s on Netflix that the licenses in Netflix UK, US, and Canada had expired.
Unfortunately, there are no plans to have the anime series rejoin the Netflix lineup, and it may be some time, if ever, before Netflix subscribers will get to binge the show. Attack on Titan is available on Tubi, Hulu, and several VOD platforms.
