We’ve known for several months now that The Kissing Booth 3 would be making its way to Netflix during the summer of 2021; however, Netflix has been quite secretive in revealing the exact release date for the Joey King, Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney led film.

In what is expected to be the final film in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth trilogy, we catch up with Elle and the gang in the summer before she sets out for college. While her last summer before college should be stressfree, Elle is, unfortunately, facing one of the hardest decisions in her life: whether to lead with her heart and move across the country to be with her boyfriend Noah or to keep her lifelong promise to her bestie Lee and attend college together.

As Netflix teases, someone’s heart is about to be broken by Elle but will that heart belong to Noah or Lee? Well, that’s the question on every fan’s mind as we await the release of the third film in the franchise.

The good news is that we apparently won’t have to wait too much longer for the film to release on Netflix!

The Kissing Booth 3 release date

With summer inching closer, Netflix has unveiled a look at the dozens of original movies set to release throughout the upcoming months as part of its new movies, every week, all year efforts. While Netflix’s summer slate is full of incredible releases, the one that is sure to get the most excitement among fans is The Kissing Booth 3.

After teasing the film’s release for months, Netflix has confirmed that The Kissing Booth 3 will premiere Wednesday, August 11.

It’s an admittedly interesting release date for the film as Netflix tends to drop most of its movies on Fridays, but we won’t complain about getting the long-anticipated third film a few days before the weekend!

And although no trailer has dropped for the film just yet, Netflix’s summer movie reveal did offer up a brief glimpse at The Kissing Booth 3 before King and Courtney dropped in to not so subtly reveal the film’s August 11 release date.

Now that we have a release date in sight, we should expect to see a trailer and additional information about the film drop as Netflix gears up for what will likely be one of its biggest movies of the summer!
