When you hear about a story by Stephen King, you generally think of his horror, sci-fi and supernatural works. Stand By Me is a movie that received praise from critics and is thought of as one of the best movies of the 80s. It is a heartfelt look at the time in a young man’s life where he is straddled between childhood and adulthood.
