Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings looks to be the first martial arts action flick to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the arrival of the first trailer, fans are very eager to see the film starring Simu Liu. The premiere of the first teaser has made several subscribers curious to learn if the MCU motion picture will ever be a part of Netflix’s impressive lineup of titles.

The character Shang-Chi first appeared in Special Marvel Edition #5 in December 1973 and was created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin. Fast forward to the modern-day, and the character has made the jump from the panels of a comic book to the big screen in the form of one of Phase Four of the MCU‘s most anticipated movies.

The film follows the titular character when he is drawn back into the clandestine Ten Ring organization, which has been hinted at in the MCU in films like Iron Man, Iron Man 3, and Ant-Man. This forces him to confront his path and accept his destiny in what promises to be an action-packed thrill, unlike anything that has been released before in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Alongside Liu is a star-studded cast featuring Raya and the Last Dragon’s Awkawfina, Crazy Rich Asians star Michelle Yeoh, and Tony Leung and Fala Chen. The trailer, cast, story, and action all make Shang-Chi, and the Legend of the Ten Rings a must-watch endeavor, and subscribers are justified in wondering if the Marvel movie will be available on the streaming service.

Is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings going to be on Netflix?

The news is not good regarding whether or not Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be available on Netflix. The Marvel film will not be coming to the streaming service after its theatrical run.

If Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ends up anywhere on streaming, it will most likely be the home for all Disney-made MCU properties, which is Disney Plus. It will join the ranks of the other films in the mega Marvel franchise, including Black Widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and WandaVision.
