What is Tokyo Ghoul about?

Tokyo Ghoul follows the story of Kaneki Ken, a social outcast living in a world where ghouls devour humans. Upon rather unfortunate events, Kaneki suddenly finds himself as a powerful ghoul wanted by many, but he must hide his identity if he wants to survive.
