The Crackle original series StartUp has become a must-watch affair on Netflix as the techno-thriller drama has made its way into the top of the charts on the streaming service prompting many to ponder if StartUp season 4 will be available for subscribers to stream in 2021.
Netflix isn’t just arguably the most popular streaming service out there right now, with over 200 million subscribers worldwide. It also has become a place where movies and TV shows can get a second chance. So many exciting endeavors that may have slipped under the radar when the first released quickly find the glory of the streaming powerhouse, and StartUp is absolutely one of those that have benefited from the Lazarus Pit-effect the platform seems to have going for it these days.
The series starring Martin Freeman as a corrupt FBI agent, Adam Brody as a desperate banker with everything on the line, Edi Gathegi as a crime lord looking to make the best life for his family, and Otmara Marrero as the computer genius is an enthralling endeavor from start to finish for anyone that is fascinated by topics related to cryptocurrency, the Dark Web, and the legitimate and criminal enterprise that benefit from such technological advancements people are continuing to see happen every day.
StartUp may have come out a few years too early as it arrived all the way back in 2016 and is now finally getting the recognition it deserves. If there was any show that should follow in the same footsteps as Lucifer and Designated Survivor, it should be StartUp season 4, and anyone that has recently binge the Crackle series in its entirety would absolutely agree Netflix should bring it back.
Will StartUp season 4 be available on Netflix this year?
Unfortunately, it’s still early days in the movement to potentially restore the StartUp-verse, and neither Crackle nor Netflix has announced any plans to continue the series. The last chapter came out on November 1, 2018, and there haven’t been any rumblings of new episodes.
The fact that there have been absolutely no updates on the StartUp season 4 release date at this point in time would indicate that the chances of it arriving on the streaming service this year are doubtful. If it were to get greenlit and start shooting in 2021, it would probably not air until 2022.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for StartUp now that it’s doing so well on the streaming service. Until news about the fourth run becomes, more clear fans have three seasons consisting of 30 exciting entries of the TV series in total to enjoy over and over again.Next: 50 best Netflix shows to watch right now
