The Netflix film Into the Beat was released earlier this month on April 16 and the film is certainly one that we can’t help but pop, lock, and drop while watching. (Sorry, not sorry.)
Into the Beat currently has a 5.3 out of 10 on IMDb with most of the audience reviews stating how cool the film is and how it has tons of great choreography. Sounds like one to watch with the family for a movie night, but if you’re a parent, you’re probably wondering if this teen movie is appropriate for your teens to watch.
Don’t worry parents, we’ve got you covered.
Is Into the Beat for kids?
Into the Beat is full of romance, passion, and inspiration which could serve as a great way for your teen to discover what they love to do especially if it’s dancing.
More of the official synopsis right here:
A teen ballerina discovers hip-hop by chance and is faced with an impossible choice: Does she follow her parents’ footsteps…or her newfound passion?
The synopsis sounds pretty teen-friendly and definitely doesn’t sound off any alarms. However, it is important to mention that the TV-14 rating also means that there may be a few scenes that may or may not be the best for your youngin’ to watch alone and you should maybe watch alongside them.
We hope you have a great time spending time with your kids watching this Netflix release and we know that they’ll have a good time during movie night too, but if you want to triple-check this film’s quality, here’s the official trailer below.Next: The Kissing Booth 3 release date confirmed for August 2021
