All schools that were closed in Niger State due to the abduction of students, pupils, and staff from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri, Agwara local government area will reopen on January 12, 2026.
The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asebe Mohammed, announced this in a statement.
She indicated that the state governor, Mohammed Umar Bago, has authorized the reopening of both private and public schools throughout the State.
