Kanye West, 43, may have lost his marriage to Kim Kardashian, 40, due to the tense and damning flurry of tweets he’d made in July, 2020, including calling his then-MIL, Kris Jenner, Kris Jong-Un and accusing the Kardashians of “white supremacy.” At least this is what Kim is claiming, and we’re not supposed to believe that she’s simply tired of having to play dress-up in any of the skintight but casually sporty fashion fails from his Yeezy collections.
It’s not exactly a reach to understand why Kim was torn about not serving two masters and having to go full Sophie’s Choice with the whole mess. The final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is milking this divorce story arc for everything it’s worth, because of course.

Kardashian fans are getting a glimpse at the difficulties of Kim and Kanye West’s marriage.
On Thursday’s new episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, Kim got candid about the troubles encountered by her and her husband, from whom she has since filed for divorce.
“It’s been a long day. … I don’t want to talk about it on camera,” Kim told BFF Malika Haqq and her sister Khloé. “You shouldn’t pay attention to [the stories]. Please, please don’t.”
Here are a few scenes from Thursday’s episode of KUWTK, whose real breakout star, as always, is the vocal fry:
The Daily Mail adds:
The scenes came amid Kanye’s infamous social media meltdown, in which he penned a series of hurtful tweets about his wife, who said on camera that she found the scenario ‘frustrating’ and urged him to meet with her to discuss his woes.
She said: ‘Kanye’s been in Wyoming and he’s been posting a lot of things on social media. That is a little bit frustrating, but you just have to kind of separate yourself from what’s going on at home and what’s going on on the internet.’
This is a surprising comment, because up until now I’m pretty sure most of us were convinced that this family wouldn’t exist at all in their present form if it weren’t for the internet. They’d just be renting a busted, three-bedroom apartment in Reseda and quietly bitching about their minimum-wage jobs dispensing frozen yogurt while fighting over who has to go to the store and buy a pint of milk for that night’s dinner of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.
Kim and Kanye married in 2014 and share four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1.
This will be Kanye’s first divorce and Kim’s third. She was previously married to Damon Thomas (2000-2004) and Kris Humphries (2011-2013), but this breakup is bringing the most ratings-baiting drama by far (this is the part Pimp Mama Kris likes).
ET Canada again:
Watching Kim having a difficult conversation over the phone, Kris Jenner told her daughters, “I feel like she’s struggling a bit with all the stuff that’s going on. I don’t know how she’s dealing with the stress of it all, that’s what I’m worried about. She’s got a lot on her plate, she’s got a lot going on with law school and the kids.”
Translation, for those who don’t speak PMK: “I’m livid and almost formed a grimace with what little actual skin is left on my face when I saw Kanye’s tweets and it sank in that I can no longer control him remotely with my freakishly powerful thought beams, but this needs to look like motherly concern for Kim, so here we are.”
Kanye, in the meantime, has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media, and the most recent tweet, dated back to last November, hints at another presidential run in 2024, which may just prompt the American public to file for divorce from him.
