MANY parents will know the pain of having their kid’s toy cars strewn all over their house – but one mum came up with a very savvy solution.

Shelby, who regularly shares her shared how she turned wall art into a clever

On her @prettyinthepines account, she demonstrated how she first found a wooden storage divider that would be a ‘hidden garage’ for storing the cars.

Then, she drilled the unit to a large photo frame using brackets.

To make the front of the frame aesthetically pleasing, she added a Desenio poster of a vintage Porsche, which was very apt given the toys behind it.

She then attached it to the wall, and demonstrated how flapping it up upwards revealed the cars stored neatly behind.

The clever hack could be a godsend for any parents fed up with their kid’s toy cars, as it not only helps keep them ordered, but also is decoration for the walls.

Shelby wrote: “My childhood love of tiny cars met my grown-up love of organisation and beautiful art.

“I had quite the toy car collection as a kid so creating this ‘hidden garage’ for my son felt extra nostalgic.”

Her video has clearly impressed internet users, with the clip racking up a whopping 1.7million views.

One person wrote: “Definitely trying this because of you.”

Another added: “This is what I mean when I say, we can make everything look aesthetically pleasing.”

And a third queried: “Wait but could I do something similar with jewelry storage?”

Meanwhile, one suggested: “Needs a soft close hinge.”
