A THRIFTY mum-of-five has revealed how she’s pocketed more than £4,200 in just one month, all by buying and reselling Christmas jumpers online.

Becki, 33, who shares her journey on TikTok as @athomewithbecki , said she started selling festive sweaters in August – and her profits have snowballed ever since.

In a video that’s racked up thousands of views, the stay-at-home mum admitted she “can’t believe” how much she’s made from the festive flip.

“I’ve made £3,078 on this month and it’s literally all from selling one thing… jumpers,” she told followers.

“My life is basically Christmas at the moment.”

Becki explained that her total earnings from October came to over £4,000, with £41 made on , £79 from , around £1,000 from WhatNot, a live-selling app her husband helps wit,h and the bulk of her profits from Vinted.

The busy mum said she manages her booming while juggling childcare for her five kids, including an eight-month-old baby.

Becki explained how she lost her confidence after having kids.

She said: “I had a baby when I was 16 and most of my life I’ve been a housewife. My husband went out to work and I looked after the kids, that’s just how it was for years.

“But doing this has given me so much self-confidence, self-worth and independence as well. You can do this around your kids, trust me, mine are hanging off me all day long!”

Becki’s success story has inspired other parents to try reselling as a way to make extra cash, especially as the crisis squeezes household budgets.

Now she’s setting her sights even higher.

She says she expects November to be “wild”, setting a goal of £5,000.

And with Christmas fast approaching, it looks like Becki’s stockpile of sparkly jumpers could be her golden ticket to a very merry payday.

The mum has inspired others to do the same.

One user wrote: “That’s insane omg. I’ve never done etsy or whatnot.”

Another added: “Thank you, i want to start doing this.”

While a third fan said: “So proud of you Becki”.

How to save money on Christmas shopping

Consumer reporter reveals how you can save money on your Christmas shopping.

Limit the amount of presents – buying presents for all your family and friends can cost a bomb.

Instead, why not organise a Secret Santa between your inner circles so you’re not having to buy multiple presents.

Plan ahead – if you’ve got the stamina and budget, it’s worth buying your Christmas presents for the following year in the January sales.

Make sure you shop around for the best deals by using price comparison sites so you’re not forking out more than you should though.

Buy in Boxing Day sales – some retailers start their main Christmas sales early so you can actually snap up a bargain before December 25.

Delivery may cost you a bit more, but it can be worth it if the savings are decent.

Shop via outlet stores – you can save loads of money shopping via outlet stores like Amazon Warehouse or Office Offcuts.

They work by selling returned or slightly damaged products at a discounted rate, but usually any wear and tear is minor.
