MANCHESTER UNITED are NOT planning to recall Harry Amass from his loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
With Amass’ initial loan expiring in January, Wednesday are confident about keeping hold of the left-back until the end of the season after entering fresh talks.

United have plenty of suitors interested in Amass’ services after a brilliant start to the season at Hillsborough.
He has started all 18 league games played since making his Owls debut against Bristol City in September, playing 90 minutes in all but one of those.
The 18-year-old, who was tipped as the long-term successor to Luke Shaw, picked up the man of the match award in his most recent outing in Monday’s goalless draw with Blackburn.
The England Under-19 international also , a month when he picked up the club player award.
But well-placed sources say United are not planning to bring Amass back in the winter window because the player’s development is a top priority.
SunSport can exclusively report that Amass will either stay on Wednesday or be loaned out elsewhere.
United believe the left-back is improving as a player for the cash-strapped club, who sit rock-bottom of the Championship on -7 following an 18-point deduction after entering administration.

Amorim then where young players think they deserve a right to play in the first team.
It’s believed Amorim was referring to Wednesday “struggling” as a club and not Amass.
Amass made seven appearances for United last season, making four starts under the former Sporting manager in the Premier League.
He enjoyed a breakthrough campaign that included a first-team debut on his 18th birthday in United’s 3-0 win at Leicester in March.
In April, he was the only player to emerge unscathed after making his full debut in United’s 4-1 defeat at Newcastle, shifting into midfield that day.
The traditional left-back, who arrived from Watford’s academy in 2023 and won the Jimmy Murphy young player award in May, also guided the Under-18s to three trophies last season.
