Kept his place as City’s ‘cup keeper’ and in doing so became the youngest English goalkeeper to start a final at Wembley since Chris Woods for in 1978.

Into the action early and made a brilliant triple save to deny and . Enjoyed an easy afternoon after that.

MATHEUS NUNES – 8

Outshone by City’s other full-back, yet he still had a great game. Did not give a sniff and was a threat going forward, too.

Created City’s second goal with a deft cross to the back post.

ABDUKODIR KHUSANOV – 7

Excelled against Real Madrid in midweek – and followed that up with another fine display here.

Electric pace and comfortably handled whenever the Swede tried to get in behind. A mature performance.

NATHAN AKE – 7

Parachuted into the team after Ruben Dias missed out with a hamstring injury.

This was only his third start since the beginning of last month, yet you would not have guessed it. So solid, including one top recovery tackle on Gyokeres.

NICO REILLY – 9

A dream afternoon for the 21-year-old, who has flicked between playing left-back and midfield over the past few weeks.

Deployed in defence against the Gunners – but still managed to score twice. City’s Wembley hero.

RODRI – 7

Not the unstoppable force he once used to be, but his mere presence seems to help City.

So steady in the middle of the park and, once Pep Guardiola’s team took the lead, he ensured there was no way they gave it up.

ANTOINE SEMENYO – 7

City’s best attacker during a dull first half. Whipped in a few dangerous crosses, one of which Haaland was inches away from heading home.

Continued to probe after the break and was bright for much of the game.

RAYAN CHERKI – 7

Such a lovely footballer to watch. His footwork is so good and he found some pockets of space in between Arsenal’s defence and midfield.

BERNARDO SILVA – 7

Did so much unseen work and helped City weather an early Arsenal storm.

An absolute expert at breaking up play with little fouls, which knocked the Gunners off their rhythm. Marshalled his side and led by example.

JEREMY DOKU – 7

Fairly quiet in the first half as shackled him. Grew in confidence as the game wore on and started to get some joy down the left flank.

Put the frighteners up Kepa by skipping past the keeper outside his box, which led to the Spaniard being booked.

ERLING HAALAND – 6

Famed for his battles with Gabriel, but he spent much of this game wrestling with .

The Frenchman did well, especially early in the second half when Haaland was almost charging clean through. Another quiet afternoon for the Norwegian.
