LUKE LITTLER will be back on the oche less than a fortnight after his £1million World Darts Championship win.

The 18-year-old has enough cash to kick back for as long as he pleases – but insists that raking in more titles is his top priority.

And has set his sights on the Bahrain Darts Masters, which gets underway on January 15.

He told talkSPORT : “We fly out to Bahrain next Sunday, so obviously we’ll have five, six days off and then we’re back on the road, back on a flight.

“I want to go and try and win that title in Bahrain once again.”

Littler captured his maiden PDC senior title at the 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters, where he hit a nine-darter and beat in the final.

He came unstuck against in the quarter-finals last year but evidently wants to reassert his dominance over what will be a strong field.

Littler also has his eyes on the PDC’s first trip to , where their World Series event starts just three days after the Bahrain final.

He said: “I obviously want to set a marker and try and win the first Saudi Arabian World Series.

“After Saudi Arabia, me, mum, dad and Faith [his girlfriend], we’re going over to Dubai for three, four nights to chill out.”

Littler will have the money to treat his loved ones in Dubai after in Saturday’s world final.

New world No3 Van Veen was expected to give Littler a run for his money after dispatching Luke Humphries in the quarter-finals and Gary Anderson in the semis.

But Littler proved a class apart as he secured back-to-back global crowns and darts’ first-ever £1m cash prize.

The youngster said: “Obviously, the money’s there. Us as a family, we’ve never had this sort of money so I’m not going to go and waste it.

“I’m not going to change. I’m not going to start buying stuff. I’ll just stay as I am.

“I’m just a darts player at the end of the day. People call me a celebrity but I’m just a boy living his dream.”
