DODDIE WEIR’S wife Kathy travelled 750 miles to present the match ball to the referee ahead of Ireland vs Scotland in the Six Nations.
Kathy sadly lost poor Doddie to Motor Neurone Disease in 2022 .

and fellow riders battled brutal winds and rain to make it to Dublin in time for kick off.
ride started at Murrayfield on Monday before heading to Leeds, over the Pennines to Wilmslow then down to Kingsholm in Gloucester.
There they met MND sufferers Lewis Moody and Ed Slater.

The riders then hopped over the Severn Bridge into Wales, over a rain-soaked and wind-swept Brecon Beacons to Pembroke Dock. They then rode from Arklow in Ireland to Blackrock RFC in Dublin for a huge finale.
The late Scotland second row raised millions for MND research during his life and this year riders tallied up £1.5million — and counting – in his honour.
There is currently no cure for MND, but the riders were battling to help funding to find a cure.
