Jessica Simpson has continued to flaunt her weight loss as she slipped into a pair of skinny jeans purchased 14 years ago.
The mum-of-three has lost an impressive 100lbs – seven stone – with a combination of exercise and healthy eating.
Posing in front of a full length mirror, Jessica, 40, showed how far she’s come as she tried on a pair of ripped denim jeans she’s had hanging in her wardrobe for over a decade.
Showing off her trim waist in the low-rise trousers, she explained: “I have kept these throwback True Religion jeans in my closet for 14 yrs (I’m not exaggerating!).”
“I figured that since I’m in the final hours of my 30’s I’d give them another try, and hello 40, so nice to meet you,” she added.
The post has since been liked by over 300,000 supportive fans – including Kardashian momager Kris Jenner.
Jessica, who starred as hot-panting loving Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazzard movie in 2005, then appeared to throw it back to her former character again as she rocked a pair of denim overalls so pose alongside daughter Birdie Mae.
“Cali Cowgirls,” Jessica dubbed them as she shared the photo on Instagam.
After welcoming her third child Birdie Mae in March 2019 Jessica weighed 17 stone and has managed to undergo a dramatic transformation in the year that has followed.
The singer/actress went to visit LA personal trainer Harley Pasternak who helped Jessica get back to fitness.
One of the challenges Harley set for Jessica was to walk 14,000 steps every day.
Spilling the secrets of his success with Jessica to E! News, Harley described walking as the ‘ultimate fat-burning exercise.’
Harley said he didn’t want to push Jessica in at the deep to ensure she stuck to a new regime.
Revealing how he devised the plan, the fitness expert said: “It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight, but how do I keep whatever I am doing now forever.
“That’s why we are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise.”
Harley previously told how he used a five daily behaviours program with Jessica.
This is made up of keeping to the daily step count, getting seven hours of a sleep every night and unplugging from technology for at least one hour every day.
The other two principles are eating three meals and two snacks – which are protein and fibre heavy – and doing resistance workouts every other day.
Following this regime Jessica managed to lose seven stone in six months.
