University of Abuja gets new acting Registrar

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Abuja, Olanrewaju Tejuoso, has approved the appointment of Roseline Adakayi as the acting Registrar of the institution.

This was contained in a statement by the Acting Director of Information and University Relations, Habib Yakoob.

This appointment is said to be pending the selection of a substantive registrar.

According to the statement, the letter of appointment, signed by the acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Patricia Manko Lar, specifies that Adakayi will serve for a period of six months, effective from Monday, 12 May 2025.

DAILY POST reports that Adakayi succeeds Islamiya Foyeke Abdulraheem, whose six-month tenure as acting registrar concluded on 12 May 2025.
