UCL: ‘I can’t see that team losing’ – Jack Wilshere predicts winner of PSG vs Inter Milan

Former Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has predicted the outcome of the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.

The Englishman is of the opinion that Inter Milan will win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Inter Milan sent Barcelona out of the competition, winning 7-6 on aggregate in the first Champions League semi-final.

Later on Wednesday, French Ligue1 side, PSG saw off Arsenal 3-1 on aggregate.

As a result, Inter Milan will face PSG in the continental final in Munich on May 31.

Following PSG’s 2-1 win over Mikel Arteta’s side on Wednesday, Wilshere, a former Gunner, was queried to predict the Champions League final.

He told TNT Sports as quoted by Metro, “I’m going Inter. I can’t see that team losing in the final.”;

Inter have won the Europe’s most prestigious trophy three times and the last one was in 2010 under Jose Mourinho.

PSG, on the other hand, have yet to lift the much-coveted European trophy, having lost the final in 2020.

Wilshere added, “We[Arsenal]didn’t do that much wrong. We probably had the better of the game in most moments.

“PSG have quality to hurt you in transitions so it is a hard one to take. But you look at the history of clubs who do get to the final and a lot of them do fail beforehand.”;
