Transfer: West Ham move to sign Onyedika from Club Brugge

Published on May 14, 2025 at 12:50 PM

West Ham United are tracking Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika ahead of the summer transfer window.

Onyedika could leave Club Brugge this summer after another stellar season for Nicky Hayen’s side.

The defensive midfielder earned plaudits for his performance in the UEFA Champions League this season.

The 24-year-old also played a crucial role in Blauw-Zwart’s side Belgian Cup success last month.

Club Brugge are also on the verge of winning a second consecutive Belgian Pro League title.

According to Voetbalkrant, West Ham United have strong interest in the defensive midfielder.

The Hammers could however face strong competition from AC Milan, who are also reportedly interested in the Nigeria international.

Onyedika linked up with Club Brugge from Danish club FC Midtylland in 2022.
