Trio of channel changes coming to Sky and Virgin TV boxes next week following spate of closures – see full list

SKY and Virgin Customers have been warned that several of their favourite channels will be undergoing a rebrand this spring.

Sky underwent a major rebrand in April, including Christian broadcaster TWR and Sky Sports RacingSD.

It also of some of their viewers favourite shows ahead of the planned shakeup in May.

The latest wave of changes kicked off on May 2, with the broadcaster renaming their popular Sky Horror channel.

The channel will now be named Sky SciFi/Horror and will have an HD version, as most Sky channels do.

Sky Apocalyptic will be renamed Favourites HD and will be renamed to Sky Heroes.

The changes will continue on May 6, when Sky Favourites is renamed SkyStarTrekHD.

On May 9, Sky Hits will be renamed SkyMegaHits HD and, on May 10, Sky Heroes will revert back to Sky Action HD.

Anyone who pays for Sky Cinema is entitled to two free Vue tickets, meaning you can see a film for free every month with a friend or partner.

Sky VIP will also start from May 6, alongside seasonal offers and promotions.

The company has confirmed that these bonuses won’t be limited to just TV and sports, with gaming, tech, home and attractions promotions also being included.

To join the lowest tier of Sky VIP, you simply need to be an active Sky TV, broadband or mobile user.

Sky also allows you to on Sky Glass, giving you access to big names like MTV and South Park when you use Pluto TV.

Other apps like Tubi are also popular, as the streaming service offers hundreds of fan-favourite movies for free.
