Schoolboy, 12, fighting for life & three others in hospital after horror crash in Borders

A TWELVE-year-old boy is fighting for life and three others have been rushed to hospital after a horror two-car smash in the Scottish Borders.

Emergency services raced to the scene on the busy A1 road at around 8.40pm last night.

The horror collision happenednear Penmanshiel, between Cockburnspath and Grantshouse.

Officers were called to the area after receiving reports of the smash involving a white Ford Transit Luton van and a black Peugeot 5008.

Four people were rushed to hospital after being injured as a result of the crash.
