School plunged into lockdown over bomb threat with ‘all students evacuated’ as cops swoop

A SCHOOL was plunged into lockdown over a bomb threat as “all students were evacuated”; from the premises and cops swoop the site.

Frome Community Collegein Somerset received the threat at 8.30am yesterday.

An unknown individual called in and warned there was a bomb hidden on the school grounds.

Police released a statement on Facebook: “At approximately 08.30hrs today Frome Community College received a call from an unknown person stating that there was a bomb somewhere on their site.

“Police were immediately called and attended, and with staff they searched the area.

“Nothing suspicious was found and the call was deemed malicious.

“During this time all students in the specified area of the college were evacuated, the normal school day resumed shortly afterwards.”;
