Ruth Langsford forced to pull out of live tv appearance after falling ill as replacement revealed

RUTH Langsford has been forced to pull out of a live TV appearance after falling sick.

The former anchor told how she had been suffering with a “horrible tummy bug”; and would not be on-screen for her QVC fashion show.

Instead of featuring on the two-hour slot from 7pm to 9pm, , 65, will be recovering at home.

In her post, she revealed her replacement would be Melissa Hardy.

Alongside an snap showing the pair together Ruth wrote: “I’ve got a horrible tummy bug so unfortunately can’t do my show @qvcuk tonight.”;
