Premier League Darts blasted after ‘absolute joke’ pint prices for Leeds night revealed

PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS have been slammed after their ridiculous pint prices were revealed.

The competition, taking place in Leeds, returned to the first direct Arena on Thursday night.

Fans were in great voice in Leeds, but the mood was dampened by the extraordinary pint prices

Fans were quick to berate the price of drinks at the venue, with eye-watering numbers greeting them as they approached the bar.

You’d expect prices to be a bit kinder up north than in London, but spectators were met with a completely different story as they queued up for booze.

Many had to rub their eyes in disbelief as the number “£9.25”; was lit up alongside the wording “Single Pint Cup”;.

For two pints, it was £18.50.

That sparked outrage on social media, with one account – Football Away Days on X – labelling the prices as “an absolute joke”;.

In the comments, spectators were livid.

One said: “I was there in October it was £8.50 a pint.”;

Another went political with it, commenting: “These sports are built on the backs of the working class and then once they’ve built it, it’s ripped away and sold to casuals and and anyone with money.

And a further comment read: “About time the price of a pint was capped! £3 anywhere outside London!!”; cried another commenter.

Others were more realistic about the pricing, saying: “I was there last night and the queues were massive. A 2-pinter lasted all night at those prices.”;

As for the action itself in , edged out 6-5 to win on night 14 of the series.

Humphries and sealed play-off places alongside Littler, who defeated the Welshman in the last four.
