NWFL announces N24.5 prize money for Super Six playoff

The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, has confirmed a total prize package of N24.5m for the ongoing Super Six tournament.

The increased financial incentives will be shared among all six participating clubs.

The eventual champions will pocket N10m, maintaining the standard of past two editions.

Runners-up and third- placed teams will earn N6m and N4m respectively. Both represented N1m increase from last season.

The bottom three teams will receive N1.5m, an increment of N500,000 from last season.

Four clubs, Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Remo Stars Ladies are in contention for the title.

The winner will be decided on the final day of the season.
