Godswill Akpabio FC head coach Patrick Udoh is adamant that the team will avoid relegation in the Nigeria National League (NNL) this season.
The Uyo-based club occupy ninth position in the NNL Group B table with 16 points.
Akpabio FC are two points above the relegation zone.
“No doubt it has been a difficult season. The league is really tough, but I’m confident we’ll retain our NNL spot at the close of the season,”;; Udoh told Completesports.
“Yes, there are still four matches, which means there are 12 points to play for. If we win all our home games, including our home match against ABS, and get a good result in the away games, then we’re safe.
“You see, the NNL is a power league. It’s all about power and brawl, with every team only interested in gaining promotion.”;;
