NNL: Four players shortlisted for Sporting Lagos’ Player of the Month award

Four players have been shortlisted for Sporting Lagos’ Player of the Month award for April.

The nominees are Abraham Idakwo, Aliu Salawudeen, Clinton Lawani, and Solomon Uloko.

Idakwo and Salawudeen played key roles in defence for coach Shola Adegun’s side during the month.

Goalkeeper Lawani kept three clean sheets for Sporting Lagos in the period under review.

Uloko also delivered a commendable performance throughout the month.

The winner of the award will be announced this week.

Sporting Lagos are in contention for a Nigeria National League, NNL, Super Eight playoff spot.

The Lagos-based side currently sit third in Group B of the NNL table, with 21 points from 14 matches.
