A MUM stabbed her son to death just hours after picking him up from school, a court heard.
Kobi Dooly-Macharia, four, was discovered in his cot at home in Hackney, East , after Keziah Macharia allegedly killed him.

Jurors heard the mum, 43, had messaged the boy’s dad Ben Dooly before the tragic discovery to tell him: “Kobi is dead”;;.
She also allegedly messaged Ben about his new partner Sasha Sasheva, telling him: “I hope you and Sasha enjoy your lives together.
“I can’t live knowing that she’ll have the same surname as my son Kobi, and I will not be in your life anymore. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Goodbye x”;;.
Inner London Crown heard Macharia has been charged with murdering Kobi but is unfit to stand trial.
Jurors have instead been asked to determine if the mum killed her son, not murdered him.
The court was told Macharia and Ben had started a relationship in 2018 and lived together in the flat in Hackney together.
But the relationship deteriorated after Kobi was born in September 2019 and Ben moved out and in with new girlfriend Sasha.
Jurors heard Macharia was “very unhappy”;; with Kobi spending any time with Sasha, who had blocked the mum on her phone and social media.
Ben last saw his son alive at the school nativity play the day before the horror.
On December 20, Kobi was seen with Macharia on CCTV being collected from Nightingale Primary School at around 4.30pm.
The youngster could be seen leaving the building wearing a coat and carrying a red balloon.
Prosecutor Mukul Chawla KC said: “You see nothing of distress or anything out of the ordinary in terms of her demeanour.”;;
The court heard when she got home, Macharia began drinking and messaging her ex later in the evening.
At one point she also text Sasha, saying “this is all your fault”;; and “you will never have the same surname as my son”;;, it was said.
The couple contacted , who broke the door down after receiving no response from Macharia.
They found Kobi cold to the touch in his cot with dozens of knife wounds, jurors heard.
The court was shown footage of Macharia in blood-stained clothes sitting on the living room floor in front of the sofa.
As officers arrived, she moved to a kneeling position and during her arrest, a knife could be seen behind her.
Police were heard asking “who did this?”;; as the mum “raised her hand to her chest, acknowledging it was her”;;.
Macharia was taken to Stoke Newington Police station and had “a very blunted muted affect”;;.
“She told officers repeatedly she just wanted her baby back, and she just wanted to see his sweet face”;;, the prosecutor added.
The case continues.
