My mates think fat jabs are key to improving sex lives – but I’ve found real secret injection and now I’m on fire

AFTER three kids and a divorce, Heather Dorigo wanted to look and feel her best as she returned to the world of dating.

The 58-year-old got her hair done, invested in some new outfits and saw an aesthetician for a very special tweakment.

“I’d always had a but I was thinking of the ten years to come and whether it would still feel fabulous.

“I’m and wanted to make sure I was in good shape in that area, so I could stay in good health and continue to enjoy sex.

“I put so much effort into looking after my face and figure, but we often forget about things down there.

“The dating world is not easy and you want to look your best all over, for your confidence.

“I read about how women naturally become drier and less sensitive, so I wanted to take action before it was too late.”;

Heather, from Chelsea, West London, paid £4,000 on three rounds of intimate injections called the O-Shot and says it’s money well spent.

Dubbed the female Viagra, this non-surgical procedure sees the patient’s own (PRP) injected into the vaginal walls and clitoris.

The technique rejuvenates the tissues of those areas, with benefits including improved urinary continence and increased natural lubrication, as well as enhancing sexual sensation, more youthful skin on the vulva and better orgasms.

Heather had her first injection at Dr SW Clinics in London in October 2023, returning again in January and March 2024.

She said she “didn’t feel a thing”; during and was just a bit sore and swollen for a day or two afterwards.

“Even after the first treatment, I noticed a real difference to how sex felt,”; she says.

“It was like my twenties again, so much more sensitive. The area was also tighter, pinker and plumper.

“I was dating someone at the time and he was sceptical beforehand, asking: ‘What are you doing this for? You don’t need it’. But he was really impressed with how it improved things for us.

“It was even more remarkable after the final treatment and has very much enhanced my sex life. There’s more sensitivity for me and increased tightness, making things more pleasurable.

“It’s made me feel youthful again, as well as given me a lot of confidence.

“Many of my friends are turning to weight loss jabs to feel more confident, but for me, it’s all about the full package—a healthy diet, a cute outfit and the O-Shot.”;

She continues: “I’ve been lucky to sail through with few symptoms but I’m hoping to have 20 or more years of living ahead of me.

“Incontinence and dryness are something I’m concerned about developing, but there’s a history of cancer in my family so I’ve been wary about things like HRT.

“I’ve had three natural births and things down there do change, but often you might not notice until there is a particular issue.

“Having anything done vaginally is a bit taboo still but I’ve been really open with my group of friends and had nothing but support.

“I know so many mums who have pelvic floor problems and things like this can make a difference to their quality of life – it isn’t just about how it looks or sex.

“This isn’t about pleasing men. I’ve had this done for myself, to be my best self.”;

ORGASM BOOST

There are no figures available on how many women in the UK have had the but there are at least 40 clinics in the UK offering it.

Other in-demand vaginal rejuvenation options include the and FemiLift.

The O-shot procedure was discovered almost by accident by Dr Charles Runels, a specialist in PRP, who invented the Vampire Facelift.

He had been inspired to use PRP for aesthetic and gynaecological reasons after seeing the success specialists had using it to help elite athletes to heal more quickly after injuries and to rejuvenate the knees of elite racehorses.

Dr Farzana Khan, a gynaecologist turned aesthetics expert, offers the treatment to women at her clinic in Leeds.

She says greater awareness of how the menopause can affect the vaginal area is driving more middle-aged women to seek this treatment.

“It used to be that women were expected to suffer in silence and put up with the uncomfortable physical changes,”; she says.

“Now they feel more empowered to talk about the ways menopause is affecting not just their physical wellbeing but how much they are enjoying life.

“Lots of women can get onboard with this kind of restorative procedure where they would feel uneasy about a purely aesthetic one. And as a former gynaecologist, I like offering them this option.

“By injecting the plasma, it encourages the body to naturally regenerate new collagen fibres, to tighten, plumpen and moisturise the vagina.

“The reduction in in menopause means thinning and sagging in that area, which can make it uncomfortable and difficult to have sex.

“What is appealing about the O-Shot is that it takes something from your own body and uses it to regenerate another part, not just for increased pleasure and aesthetic reasons, but for better gynaecological health.

“What’s interesting is how patients are seeking regenerative solutions, not just wanting to change how they look.”;

The procedure lasts up to two hours and starts with the patient having a blood sample taken, which is spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma that is rich in growth factors and can stimulate tissue regeneration.

Meanwhile, the area to be injected is numbed, before the doctor uses a speculum to inject the G-spot and clitoris with the PRP, using microneedles.

Heather says she will return for when the effects start to wane, but has been told it should work for about five years.

“Sex is a pleasurable part of life and why shouldn’t we be allowed to enjoy it for as long as possible?”; she says.

“I felt so much more confident getting back into the dating world after my final injection.

“I’ve now met a handsome man in his fifties and let’s just say, the chemistry is on fire. The combination of that spark and the boost in confidence from the O-Shot has me thriving.

“It’s fantastic that this procedure can help women like me, who got divorced in later life, to get a second chance to experience pleasure and have a good time. It’s the best money I’ve spent.”;
