He said: “I’ve got a big decision to make now, do I cancel my op? I don’t know.”;
Asked how his eyesight had affected his game at the Crucible, Williams added: “I haven’t played with glasses yet, that was my next step.
“I tried contacts, struggled with them. Looks like I’m still doing alright, half blind.”;
Williams survived reeling off four frames in a row to level at 12-12 by nicking the final frame 74-69.
The third Class of 92 member, Ronnie O’Sullivan is also into the last four.
