A TORY councillor’s wife jailed for urging rioters to set fire to migrant hotels faces a wait to see if her appeal is successful.

She deleted it after calming down, and said: “I know that wasn’t an acceptable thing to say.

“When I wrote that there had been no violence and it was never my intention to cause any.”;;

The court reserved judgment until a later date.

Husband Raymond, who lost his West Northamptonshire district seat earlier this month but is still a town councillor, said outside : “I’m hoping this will come to a positive conclusion.”;;
