Kidnapped traditional title holder, Dandada, found dead after ransom paid to abductors

Malam Sani Dandada, the Madawakin Fawa of Faskari, who was kidnapped on April 19 while returning from Daura, has been found dead despite the payment of a full ransom to his abductors.

Despite the payment of a full ransom by his family, his captors failed to release him.

The news of his death was confirmed on Friday in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine, on the social media platform X.

“Malam Sani Dandada, the Madawakin Fawa of Faskari who was kidnapped while returning from Daura on 19th April, was killed by the bandits after collecting ransom.”;;

Local authorities are yet to officially comment on the incident.
