Former Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper, Roman Weidenfeller has picked Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Lionel Messi.
Weidenfeller believes Ronaldo’s relentless work ethics make him better than Messi.
He said the Al-Nassar forward is always first in the dressing room.
Speaking to The Hindu, the former goalkeeper said via GOAL: “I have played against many strong strikers, like Messi, Gonzalo Higuain, and others.
“But Ronaldo stands out. He is always the first in the dressing room, working hard in the gym and on the pitch, and the last to leave.
“His dedication has kept him at the top for so long, and now he is continuing his career in Saudi Arabia.”;
Ronaldo has won five Ballon d’Or awards in his career and several trophies including Champions League, Euros, Premier League LaLiga, Serie A among others.
The 40-year-old has played for Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United in the past.
