WE can all agree that a slap-up cooked breakfast is one of the best bits about a night away in a hotel â but who knew you could tuck in to Premier Inn’s kids eat free deal without even staying overnight?
Adults can get an all-you-can-eatwith unlimited hot drinks and juice for just £10.99, with two under-16s eating free per grown-up.

That meant feeding five of us at Uttoxeter on our way to a big day out cost just £22, less than one adult meal would have done once we were at .
It was a fantastic start to our , as the boys piled their plates high with all manner of breakfast goodies that made a welcome change from our normal bowl of cereal or slice of toast.
One bloke tucking into his full English nearby even stopped my husband to say my middle son was his hero, after seeing him wander past with a plate of and pancakes plus a couple of sausages and hash browns for good measure.
I have to admit that I had no idea you could get a Premier Inn breakfast without staying there until a friend mentioned it to me the day before our
It sounded a bit too good to be true, so I dropped the an email to ask if I could book a table for the morning and ten minutes later, it was all sorted.
When we arrived, we headed into reception, which is in a different building from the to enter our car registration into the system.
The lovely Amy escorted us over to the restaurant and took our payment. She advised that prebooking is always a good idea â if the hotel is fully booked, they might struggle to accommodate extra people at breakfast.
I found the hotel’s email address on social media so it was very straightforward to make a booking.
Seeing my sons’ eyes light up as they saw all the baked goods and trays of made me smile.
My eldest son had no hesitation in asking Amy if you could reload your plate as many times as you like.
My only proviso was that we only take things we are definitely going to eat as we don’t like food waste.
So I’d rather the boys take less each time and then go back for more than stacking food sky-high and not being able to eat it all.
At the end, our plates were bare and we were all stuffed, so it meant we needed to carry less food around Alton Towers with us.
We generally bring a on days out anyway, but seeing that an adult would pay £22.50 at the all-you-can-eat Explorers’ Pizza Pasta Buffet in the Katanga Canyon area, it made the brilliant breakfast bargain we bagged that morning even better.
If you’re not a fan of eggs and bacon for your breakfast, you can opt for a continental breakfast of cereal, pastries, fruit and yogurt at Premier Inn instead and that costs just £8.99 per adult, still including hot drinks and juice.
So you could actually feed a family of six for just £18 if you chose that option. That’s the same price as five ice creams at Alton Towers!

Now I’m on the lookout for more sites where we can start our day with a big feed for the whole family for next-to-nothing, especially as I don’t have to cook or clean up afterwards.
It would be great if you’re having a beach day or on a , as both are places you’re likely to find a Premier Inn.
It’s worth knowing that at some sites, the cost per adult might be £11.99 or £13.99, so you should check the price when you email to book if you’re working to a budget.
Why not swap lunch for brunch and save yourselves a few pennies at the Premier Inn?
