Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has hit out at three players â Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho â following the team’s Premier League 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Friday.
Keane also insisted that Man United should not be fighting to keep the three players at the club this summer transfer window.
A second half goal from Marc Cucurella gave the Blues the win against Ruben Amorim’s side at Stamford Bridge.
“They have got no striker,”;; Keane told Sky Sports. “Hojlund looked like a young kid for Chelsea, he looked like he had come straight out of the academy.”;;
Asked if Hojlund, Mainoo and Garnacho were players Man United should fight to keep, Keane added: “No. No I wouldn’t. I would not be hanging my hat on them three to get United anywhere.
“Mainoo came on tonight and I watched him closely, he is strolling around, some of his passing was sloppy.
“Garnacho is immature, he plays in little moments but he doesn’t do enough.
“You want players to turn up week in and week out and he doesn’t do that.”;;
The result leaves Man United in 16th position on the Premier League table with 39 points from 37 games.
They will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final in their next game on Wednesday.
