The American skater, who joined the hit ITV show in 2019, opened up to fans in a heartfelt video, revealing he has been suffering for over a year.

He kicked off the video with a light-hearted hello and smile, before explaining what has been happening and why he has been off social media for some time.

Doing an impression of , Brendyn said: “Oh hi there, didn’t see ya ...

“Yeah had a minute, and thought I’d update everyone on life. It’s a big day tomorrow. Going in for a little bit of surgery.

“Everybody close to me knows whats going on.

“But yeah, for the last year and a half I’ve really had a hard time with asthmatic symptoms but I’ve never had it before in my life, like breathing.

“Anyway I’ve been in A&E a couple of times with massive asthma attacks, never dealt with it my whole life.

“But through testing and everything they’ve found a bunch of things going on with my sinuses. So it’s not a massive surgery but the bill sure is. Because the NHS could not fit me in for another year.

“And I can’t live like this anymore.

“I will keep updated and let everyone know that I am ok.

“Basically due to a clerical error I got discharged from the NHS in October and they weren’t able to see me until December this year and it has been nothing but frustrating.

“I’m excited to get it done but it’s not an easy one to swallow with changing everything. But everything works out in the end and you just keep... (going) you know?”;
