A CHILD is among four injured after a car ploughed into pedestrians – with a driver arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

One person is said to have potentially life-threatening injuries following the crash in Rochdale this afternoon.

The male driver, 49, who is also suspected of assault, has been detained in hospital.

The incident is not being treated as terrorism related, according to cops.
