CHANNEL 4’s shocking new reality show that makes Love Island look PG is being launched within days.
The groundbreaking series teaches virgin Brits how to have sex.




will follow a group of young adults as they embark on their “erotic awakening”;.
The Sun previously revealed bosses had signed for the show.
Now a first look at the show sees the participants arriving at an island retreat.
The group of young men and women in their twenties discuss why they’ve struggled to reach the important milestone in life â having sex.
Experts demonstrate how to be intimate and viewers will see people straddling each other, errotic touching and simulating sex.
It stars Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harel, who run the Somatic Institute in San Francisco, which featured on ‘s show Sex, Love And Goop.
The renowned sex and relationship coaches oversee the virgins’ welfare and deliver a programme of treatments including lessons in romance and attraction, starting with discussions about intimacy before moving on to touching.
Then three “Sexological bodyworkers”; called Aisha, Thomas and Joy step in to do the deed with the participants while “surrogate partners”; Kat and Andre will help teach them how to connect.
Producers had faced a hurdle when casting â struggling to find enough virgins willing to sign up.
Now, brave contestants have completed filming and Virgin Island is full steam ahead. It will air on Channel 4 on Monday May 12 at 9pm.
A second instalment will follow up at the same time on Tuesday May 13.
Channel 4’s specialist factual commissioning editor Jonah Weston says the show was neccessary in the “Love Island age”; after research found one in eight 26-year-olds were still virgins.
He said: “This isn’t a ‘dating in paradise’ reality show cast from Instagram and TikTok. These are real people.”;
Speaking to Broadcast, he added: “Getting to the bottom of that and working out whether those young people could be helped just felt like a must-do.
“I hope viewers will be charmed and heartened by the incredible cast, who were brave enough to step forward and explore an issue that is affecting thousands of young people across the UK.”;
Virgin Island premieres on Channel 4 at 9pm on Monday 12th May and will also be available to stream on Channel4.com.
