CORONATION Street was hit by an awkward blunder in which a character referred to their co-star by their real name.
The epic error on the ITV soap opera appeared to slip through the net with bosses not catching the pesky mishap before it went to broadcast.

During the latest episode of the show, it seemed that actress Sally Carmen-Duttine appeared to forget she was in character as Abi Webster.
As she propped up the bar at the Rovers and collected some drinks whilst at Christina Boyd’s Bingo night, Abi accidentally called Jenny Bradley by the wrong name.
Having paid for her drinks, Abi could be heard saying: “Cheers Sal.”;
Rather than calling her Jenny, she appeared to confuse reality and fiction and called Jenny actress by her real name.
The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment appeared to slip by soap chiefs who kept the blunder in.
One fan who spotted the moment even suggested that actress Sally Ann smirked when she realised she’d been addressed by her own name.
The viewer wrote on X: “That’s too funny! And it looks like Sally (Jenny) genuinely smiled like she caught it.”;
In the episode, Jenny foiled Christina’s plan to rob her and sensationally exposed her in front of a packed-out pub.
She even called the cops who arrested Christina in front of her friends and family.
It comes ahead of Daisy Midgeley, Christina’s daughter, leaving the cobbles later this week.
The Sun previously told by departing in the back of a cab for pastures new.
A source said: “Charlotte’s decision to quit Corrie was leaked at a time when the show was going through a bit of a crisis.
“When thenewsbroke the narrative was very much, she’s moving onto bigger and better things which raised quite a few eyebrows on set.”;
The source added: “No-one ever wants to leave in the back of a cab but that’s exactly what’s happening with Charlotte.
“They’re not killing her off but she leaves after burning all her bridges with step-mum Jenny Bradley.”;
